Think Silicon @ the HiPEAC Conference
Monday 11 Dec 2017
Description
Think Silicon is very pleased to announce its participation in the premier European forum for experts in computer architecture, programming models, compilers and operating systems for embedded and general-purpose systems, which is none other than the HiPEAC conference.

Join us in the 13th HiPEAC conference in Manchester, UK which will take place from Monday, January 22 to Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Associated workshops, tutorials, special sessions, several large poster sessions and an industrial exhibition will run in parallel with the conference.

While you’re at the event, be sure to stop by the Think Silicon stand to explore our proven methods and solutions aimed at ultra-low power connected wearables and low-power embedded applications. At HiPEAC, Think Silicon will showcase the prototype developed in cooperation with Synopsys which combines the best of Synopsys’ technology sporting a DesignWare® ARC EM5D Processor with Think Silicon’s NEMA®|p, NEMA®|DC, and NEMA®|GFX-API, resulting in a developer solution aimed at ultra-low power connected wearables and low-power embedded applications. Also, visitors will have the chance to see the industry’s smallest IoT 3D GPU, NEMA®|t, featuring OpenGL® ES supporting mid-range till high-end quality wearables and IoT/embedded devices as well as to try out our full Software Development Kit targeting ultra-low power graphics development for wearables and embedded systems.

On top of that, you will have the chance to meet Dr. Georgios Keramidas, Chief Scientific Officer, who will present Think Silicon’s work and involvement in our ongoing EU funded research projects at the “Energy Efficient Embedded Image Processing: Architectures, Tools and Operating Systems (E3IPA)” workshop and the “12th Workshop on Reconfigurable Computing (WRC)”. In addition, you will have the opportunity to hear about our latest achievements, research topics and future plans during the Industrial Session.

Moreover, Think Silicon is one of the main organizers of the “6th International Workshop on Power-Efficient GPU and Many-core Computing (PEGPUM)” along with TU Berlin, Codeplay, Samsung and Spin Digital to be held on 22 January 2018 within the HiPEAC conference. If you are around, do not miss the chance to attend it and participate in the dialogue and interaction among researchers from academia and industry addressing contemporary challenges in low-power parallel software and hardware design.

Should you wish to arrange for an appointment with us, please send us your requests to info(at)think-silicon.com. We will be more than happy to meet you there discussing and showing to you our latest GPU projects and achievements.
