Think Silicon @ Synopsys ARC Tech Forum Japan 2018
Monday 12 Mar 2018
Description
Think Silicon® is glad to announce its participation in Synopsys ARC® Tech Forum Japan to be held on Wednesday, 14 March 2018 at the Tokyo Conference Center Shinagawa 5F.

Synopsys ARC® Tech Forum Japan is a single-day event where its participants will have the chance to hear about hints on solving all the problems surrounding the processor, including the latest product information of the ARC-HS processor, the flagship product of the ARC processor family, efficient software development method, and security issues will also be discussed.

Think Silicon has partnered with Synopsys to a create a prototype of an ultra-low power Internet of Things (IoT) platform designed for connected wearable, mobile, and embedded display devices. This solution will be showcased at the Synopsys ARC Tech Forum Japan 2018. The prototype combines the best of Synopsys technology sporting a DesignWare® ARC EM5D Processor with Think Silicon products including NEMA®|p, NEMA®|DC, and NEMA®|GFX-API, resulting in a developer solution aimed at ultra-low power connected wearables and low-power embedded applications. Both companies have tools to assist developers in creating world-class products for a wide variety of markets.

Think Silicon® will also exhibit NEMA®|t – the industry’s first ultra-low power 3D GPU supporting open graphic standard APIs and Vector Graphics for System on a chip (SoC) solutions. NEMA®|t is designed to support mid-range to high-end quality wearables and IoT/embedded devices, which require a more powerful fully supported 3D user interface including SoC solutions with 32-bit MCU or MPU (e.g. Synopsys® ARC EM/HS Family) and rely on a more sophisticated OS, such as Android Wear for example.

Also, Mr. Ulli Mueller, Vice President, Marketing & Business Development of Think Silicon will make a presentation titled “NEMA®|GPU - Ultra Low power 3D micro-GPU for IoT Class devices” addressing how the emerging Internet of Things (IoT) market adds design challenges for engineers, while discussing how the NEMA® Series of ultra-low power micro-GPU cores bridges this gap.

Should you wish to meet us at this event please send us your requests to info(at)think-silicon.com. We will be more than happy to meet you there and show you our latest GPU projects developed with Synopsys technology.
