In April 2020, Applied Materials acquired Think Silicon®, a semiconductor technology portfolio company based in Greece. Think Silicon develops and licenses high-performance, ultra-low power Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and display controller technology for wearables, IoT, home appliances, etc. Think Silicon's ambition is to become the leader in developing ultra-low power graphics IP technology in the world!

Based on our current growth, we are looking to expand our team! We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team.

General Profile

Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or Office Admin Assistant.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be asked to work with business management operations, marketing & communications and be the focal point for all administration and operations tasks related to facility, security, and administration services in the Athens office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with vendors on the purchase of products and materials related to the Marketing department
  • Conduct research on potential vendors in order to get the best quality products at reasonable costs
  • Coordinate attendance at trade and professional conferences, sponsorships, etc.
  • Handle conference logistics for events with an exhibit booth
  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Athens office
  • Take accurate minutes of meetings
  • Expense reports
  • Facilities and offices check Offices
  • Issuing Badges
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Ensure the operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of office management systems, tools, processes, and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) and SAP
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with multi-tasking ability
  • Time management and ability to prioritize
  • Attention to detail including proofreading
  • Strong negotiation skills
