The Candidate will work on new novel GPU Architectures of Applied Materials/Think Silicon and explore cache and memory subsystem hierarchies/topologies. As part of this work, the target will be the design and implementation of a Cache Controller suitable for multicore designs with a focus on power and/or performance optimizations. The candidate will work with Senior IC Engineers as part of the HW IC Team. A Cache Controller is the controller of a RAM that acts as a supplementary memory system that temporarily stores frequently used instructions and data for quicker processing by the central processing unit (CPU/GPU). The ideal candidate should be familiar with Digital Design and SystemVerilog and will learn about embedded Processors and will gain knowledge about EDA tools such as Synopsys and Cadence. #Cache #GPU #CPUarchitecture #DigitalDesign #LowPower #AXICache controller full specifications.
